Technical University of Kosice

TUKE is the second largest technical university in Slovakia. It is participating in many national and international projects related to mining, engineering, raw materials. Scientists from TUKE are authors of patents in this area. Partners already were involved in H2020 project, financed by EIT Raw Materials (body of EU) on raw materials (MC-CEMP Masters course in circular economy for materials processing). MEERI and TUKE jointly developed new education materials for the students of circular economy, and conducted seminars and workshops for students (importance of raw materials, circular economy, sustainable development, recovery technologies, management of waste, management of raw materials). Both MEERI and TUKE are partners in EIT Raw Materials - the biggest network Institute for Raw materials in Europe and world.
